The Rise of the American Army: Valley Forge and the Battle of Monmouth

Join Emerging Revolutionary War historians Billy Griffith and Phillip S. Greenwalt on a bus tour covering Valley Forge and the Monmouth Courthouse campaign. With the trials and tribulations during the Valley Forge winter encampment, the Americans were near a low point.
Come learn about German officer Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben training regimen and see the field where it happened. Tour the first major engagement of the professionally trained American army, with the sites attributed one of the largest and most hotly contested battles of the American Revolution at Monmouth Courthouse.
Tour fee is $175 per person. Tour includes Friday night talk, all day tour on Saturday and half day tour on Sunday. Lunch on Saturday and transportation for both days are included.
